Honestly is there any television programme that is more noxious..... and more insanely watchable.
I feel dirty when the credits roll.
Two thoughts usually occur at the end of the programme-
first, why did they let themselves get to that place...
second, am I there?
I never watch television.

Tom, you're very wise - but then if I lived by the sea there's every chance my tv viewing would decrease - I could watch the changing patterns of the waves and the colours of sea and sky all day. 10 years younger just doesn't have the same appeal...to say the least.

You're right, I do spend a lot of time observing nature now I'm here.
